Who we are
BuyOrBank is a free tool by Novel Yazılım, a software company in Turkey. Another Novel Yazılım product is İşim Her Yerde, the sales software that dealers and distributors use. On this page we say why we made the site, who pays for it and where the numbers come from.
Why did we make it?
We could not find a clear, neutral answer with numbers to the question "should I buy a car and rent it out, or leave the money in the bank?". Forums have guesses, and an earnings estimate alone leaves out the value the car loses and the interest the money would have earned. So we made a tool that puts the costs, the car's lost value and the interest into one calculation.
Who pays for it?
Novel Yazılım runs the site at its own cost. We sell no cars, loans or insurance. We take no commission from any bank, dealer, car-sharing platform or rental firm. The calculator is free: no account, no ads, no tracking.
Where do the numbers come from?
Every number shows its source and its date. Numbers that are our own estimates are marked as estimates. You find every number and its source on the How we calculate page. You can change all of them to your own.
Is this investment advice?
No. The calculation shows what could happen with today's numbers; it does not promise a result. The decision is yours.
